Introduced message read tracking with a dedicated MessageReadingService, SignalR read request/response contracts, and hub notification flow for read receipts. Added configurable message edit constraints through MessageEditingOptions and a shared INowDateTimeProvider so timestamps are consistent across the app. Also fixed recipient validation in message removal and improved push token upsert behavior by matching the correct user/session record.
Import the API extensions and replace manual result handling in RefreshController with result.ToActionResult(), removing the inline empty-token check and switch-based error mapping. Also normalize the empty-token error message in UserSessionRefresher from "cannot be empty" to "can't be empty". This centralizes Result -> IActionResult conversion and simplifies the controller logic.
Migrate codebase to use SmartRes Result<T, Error> (and Unit) across services and interfaces, replacing previous Result usage and updating many method signatures and implementations. Add ResultExtensions to convert SmartRes results to ASP.NET ActionResult and refactor AuthController to use functional Bind/Tap chains for registration/login flows. Upgrade projects to .NET 10 and bump related NuGet packages; add libs/SmartRes.dll and project references. Simplify DbContext registration to use Npgsql only with retry policies and enable detailed logging. Update Swagger/launch settings and other minor fixes (AutoMapper registration change, whitespace/exception handling, and removal of the Govor.ConsoleClient files).
Large refactor that renames/moves core types into a new Govor.Domain surface and reorganizes the Application layer. Models, configurations, migrations and many files moved from Govor.Core/Govor.Data to Govor.Domain; numerous Application services, interfaces and implementations were relocated or added (authentication, friends, messages, medias, push notifications, user sessions, storage, synching, private chats, etc.). Tests updated to use Govor.Domain namespaces and adjusted project references (removed Govor.Data reference from API tests). Also updated API, Hub and mapping code and project files to reflect the new structure and naming. This is primarily a codebase-wide namespace and module reorganization to establish a Domain project and restructure application services.
Introduces a new cryptographic key management system for user sessions, including models, DTOs, interfaces, and services for handling identity keys, signed pre-keys, and one-time pre-keys. Updates the SessionKeysController and DI configuration to use the new services. Adds related EF Core configurations and migrations, and updates the UserSession model to reference the new UserCryptoSession. Removes the obsolete ISessionKeyService interface.
Introduces ICurrentUserSessionService and its implementation to provide access to the current user's session ID via the 'sid' claim. Registers the service in DI and adds comprehensive unit tests to validate correct and error scenarios.
The JwtService now includes sessionId in access tokens, and all usages have been updated to pass sessionId when generating tokens. UserSession now supports public encryption and signing keys. Tests and session management logic have been updated to reflect these changes, ensuring session-specific claims in JWTs and improved session tracking.
